AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls have had two emotional hard fought wins the past two Saturday nights. The most recent one took place in Odessa as the Bulls rallied from 2-0 down to beat the Jackalopes 3-2 in a shootout. It was the Bulls first road win of the season and snapped a two game losing streak. The Amarillo Bulls are back at home for the next two weekends with four home games starting with the Lone Star Brahmas and concluding with the Wichita Falls Wildcats.

BULLS IN THE COMMUNITY: It’s a busy week for the Amarillo Bulls in the community. On Wednesday afternoon Bulls players will be Reeves-Hinger Elementary School in Canyon to help out at Red Ribbon Week. Later that evening, Bulls players will be attending Family Science Night at the Don Harrington Discovery Center.
HOCKEY IS BACK THIS WEEKEND:
FRIDAY, OCT. 30, SATURDAY, OCT. 31 VS LONE STAR BRAHMAS, 7 PM: After a weekend away from home, the Amarillo Bulls return to face the Lone Star Brahmas at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. It will be the fourth and fifth meetings of the season. Friday and Saturday’s games face off at 7 pm.
SATURDAY PROMOTIONS: It’s Halloween Night and fans can get $2 off their ticket if they show their Amarillo High-Tascoa Ticket from Friday Night or a High School Season Pass Card. Halloween Four Pack returns with Four Tickets, Four Hotdogs and Four Sodas for $44 and Two Tickets, Two Hotdogs and Two Sodas for $22. There will be a Halloween Costume Contest in the first intermission with one child and one adult winner to be chosen. Bring your own Jack-o-lantern to the game for a contest that will take place after the game in The Corrall.

AMARILLO HOCKEY SUCCESS AGAIN: It was a big weekend for Amarillo Youth Hockey in Odessa. The Peewee Bulls won their division at a tournament in Odessa, while the Big Texan Bulls collected two wins to begin their New Mexico High School Hockey Season.
ODESSA JACKALOPES 4, AMARILLO BULLS 2: This was a tight checking affair that featured plenty of special teams work by both squads. Charlie Singerhouse notched his first North American Hockey League goal while Keenan Sabatini also tallied. Michael Forman notched two assists, while Phil Fromberger, and Brady Crabtree had singles. Goaltender Anton Martinsson took the loss.
ODESSA JACKALOPES 7, AMARILLO BULLS 4: The Amarillo Bulls rallied from a five goal deficit on Friday with three straight but couldn’t get any closer. Goals came off the sticks of Charlie Singerhouse, George Mika, Joey Molinaro and Nick Santoro. Mika and Molinario each had a couple of assists, while Michael Forman, Brady Crabtree, and Jake Houston also set up goals. Jacob Weatherly started the game between the pipes, but was relieved by Anton Martinsson early in the 2nd period.
AMARILLO BULLS 3, ODESSA JACKALOPES, 2, SHOOTOUT: The Bulls rallied from a 2-0 third period deficit on Saturday night. Charlie Singerhouse scored to make it 2-1 then Joey Molinaro tied the game in the final five minutes of regulation. Molinaro notched the winner in the shootout to give the Bulls their first win on the road. Keenan Sabatini, Johan Lundgren, George Mika and Joey DiBenedetto all had assists. Anton Martinsson posted the win in goal.
