Weekly Release-Bulls Start Fast

AMARILLO, TX – You couldn’t have asked a better start to the season for the Amarillo Bulls. Three first period goals lifted the Bulls past the Odessa Jackalopes 6-3 on Saturday night at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

The Bulls return to action this weekend hosting the Lone Star Brahmas on Saturday at 7 pm before heading on the road to Blaine Minnesota and the North American Hockey League Showcase.


RADIO SHOW TONIGHT: The Amarillo Bulls Radio Show debuts tonight at Seven Bar and Grill located on Soncy Road in Amarillo. Join host Denis J. Puska along with Head Coach Matt Nicholson, Assistant Coach Tony Attanucci and special guests Joey DiBenedetto and Joey Molinaro. NEXT HOME GAME – THIS SATURDAY AT 7 PM VS LONE STAR: The Battle Of The Cattle resumes for the first time this season when the Bulls host the Lone Star Brahmas at 7 pm on Saturday night. WEEKEND REWIND: AMARILLO BULLS 6 – ODESSA JACKALOPES 3: The line of Joey Molinaro, George Mika and Johan Lundgren were a big wrecking crew on Saturday night in the Bulls first win of the season. It marked the fifth victory in six home openers. Molinaro picked up two goals and two assists, while Lundgren had a goal and three assists. George Mika earned one goal and one assist. Zack Sarnowski, and Tyler Harkins each had singles. Trent Dillinger collected two assists. Goaltender Anton Martinsson stopped 38 of 41 shots he faced.
