The Amarillo Bulls are adding to their offensive firepower for next season with the tendering of forward Byron Hartley.

Hartley, a member of the Philadelphia Little Flyers 18u of the North American Prospects Hockey League and Holy Ghost Prep (PA), turned heads during the NAHPL season, amassing 40 points in 16 games on 23 goals and 17 assists.

His performance for Holy Ghost Prep, where he served as captain, was equally impressive, as the 17-year old tallied 21 goals and 13 helpers through 18 games.

“I’m truly honored for the opportunity to compete for a place on the Bulls roster next season,” said Hartley. “I would like to thank my coaches for helping me achieve this accomplishment, and I can’t wait to get started and see the beautiful town of Amarillo. Go Bulls!”

The 5’9”, right-handed forward will compete for a roster spot during the 2020-2021 season, but the Bulls coaching staff is optimistic for the youngster’s future with the team.

“Byron comes from a place both Rocky and I are extremely familiar in the Little Flyers,” said Assistant Coach George Lewis. “He did an excellent job at our main camp last summer and has a nose for the net. His production speaks for itself, leading both the AYHL and NAPHL in scoring. We are excited to have him here.”
