The Amarillo Bulls sought offensive firepower for the upcoming season, and they have found one of the key pieces to that future, tendering forward Talon Sigurdson.

Sigurdson, a Sartell, MN native, got his feet wet in NAHL play with an affiliate game with the 2019 Robertson Cup winning Aberdeen Wings.

“The Bulls have a great reputation as a hockey program and team,” said Sigurdson. “After several conversations with Coach Russo, I felt it was the best place for me to develop as a man and as a hockey player.”

The 6’0”, right-hander dazzled for the Northstar Christian Academy U18 at the midget level, slotting 31 goals and assisting on 26 others over a 52-game spread. At the NAPHL level, 19 points in 16 games was enough to secure an Amarillo tender.

“Talon was a massive piece to Northstar Christian Academy which was a powerhouse this season,” said Assistant Coach George Lewis. “We feel he will bring a lot to our lineup next season and we are excited to have him. Talon did a great job statistically this season and we see that continuing, but one thing we and his previous coaching staff really like about him is his commitment to his work ethic. We feel his compete level will be infectious within our group next season.”
