MEXICO’S BALANCED SCORING EARNS AMARILLO TENDER

The Amarillo Bulls call Texas home but welcome Mexico to the family, as Justin Mexico signed his tender to join the organization. Mexico, who call’s Madison Heights, MI home, joins the Bulls after strong showing at the midget level with Honeybaked 16U. “So glad to be a part of a great organization,” said Mexico. “It’s a different culture in Amarillo and I wanted to be a part of right away and I can’t wait to get started.” The 5’10”, left-handed forward, showed an ability to generate scoring chances and find the back of the net, tallying 35 goals and 55 assists over 73 games during the 2019-2020 campaign.

“Justin dominated at the 16U level for Honeybaked this season,” said Assistant Coach George Lewis. “After several viewings of Justin and having him down to Amarillo for a visit we liked him as a fit for our group next season. We see Justin as an intelligent player who can create offensively and compete all over the ice. He will adjust to the older game and be a big part of our success in the future.”
