MARTINO ANNOUNCES COMMITMENT, HEADING TO WEST POINT

AMARILLO,Tx-The Amarillo Bulls are proud to announce Nick Martino has committed to play hockey at Army West Point next season. Martino was named captain of the Bulls earlier this season and has 12 points (3G,9A) in 17 games this season.

 

“I’m beyond excited and proud to have the opportunity to play Division 1 hockey and pursue academic excellence at West Point.” Nick Martino said.

 

Martino spent time in the NAHL with the Jonestown Tomahawks but played the majority of the 19-20 season for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey League.

 

“We would like to congratulate Nick on his commitment to West Point! He has not only been an impactful player for us, but has also taken on the responsibility of being our Captain and maintained both responsibilities very well.” Bulls Head Coach Rocky Russo said.

 

“His compete level, accountability and discipline will serve him well as a student-athlete at the NCAA level. I know Coach Riley and his staff are very excited to have Nick join their Army family.” Russo said.
