Jake Willets began the offensive explosion followed by Alex Peterson off a turnover and then Nick Trela on a sharp angled shot. Brenden Datema set up two of the goals, while Jason Brancheau, Trey Bagwell, Logan Jenuwine, and Brendan West had the others.
Blake Bennet replied for the IceRays midway through the second period to change to bring the team within a pair, but the Bulls finished strong and the comeback was ended.
