GAME DAY PREVIEW- Amarillo Bulls at New Mexico

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls hope to make the most of things tonight when they visit the New Mexico Mustangs in their lone North American Hockey League game this weekend. The face-off is set for 8:30 pm central, 7:30 pm mountain at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

It’s just the third Bulls game on the road versus a South Division opponent this season. The Bulls are 0-1-1 with both losses by the same 3-2 margin, including one in a shootout. Amarillo currently sits alone in third place, three points back of the second place Wichita Falls Wildcats and four behind the leading Texas Tornado. The Wildcats and the Tornado were both victorious last night in tight games, while the Topeka RoadRunners lost to their rival Springfield Jr. Blues.

Two consecutive third-period comebacks have propelled the Bulls to wins, following uncharacteristically slow starts. Amarillo has won three in a row, while the Mustangs are winless in their last six games on home ice. It is the third meeting of the season between the two clubs with the Bulls winning easily on home ice 8-3 and 5-0.

Fans can tune into the game live on ESPN1440 and beginning with The Warm Up Show Presented by Wayland Baptist University at 8:15 pm central. Denis J. Puska has all of the exciting play by play action at 8:30 pm. The game is also available on Pay-Per-View through Fast Hockey, and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game. To access, the Pay-Per-View broadcast, please visit
