Cole Named To USCHO All-Rookie Team

AMARILLO, TX – Ryan Cole’s terrific rookie season at Trinity College hasn’t gone unnoticed.

          Cole was chosen to the USCHO Division III All-Rookie Team and just missed out on taking the Rookie Of The Year honors.

          The Anchorage, Alaska native finished third in the nation in scoring with 19 goals (ninth) and 29 (3rd) assists for 48 points. Cole pitched in five power play goals and added three game winners.

          Trinity College Bantams were second in the nation averaging 4.65 goals per game behind St. Norbert which eventually won the NCAA Division III title last weekend. The Bantams were first on the power play firing 44 goals and a percentage of 30.56.

The Amarillo Bulls return to action this Friday and Saturday when they face the Odessa Jackalopes for a pair of game to close the regular season. The face-off for both games is set for 7:17 pm at Ector County Coliseum. Fans can tune into the games live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, or watch on PPV courtesy of Fast Hockey beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show at 6:55 pm.
