Bulls Weekly Release-500 Weekend Against Lone Star

AMARILLO, TX –The Amarillo Bulls split a pair of weekend games with the Lone Star Brahmas on home ice. Anton Martinsson notched his first NAHL win in goal to lift his team past the Brahmas 2-1, while on Saturday it was a 7-2 loss by Amarillo to Lone Star.

The seven-game home stand continues this Friday and Saturday when the Bulls host the Corpus Christi Ice Rays at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. The face-off for both games is set for 7 pm.

BULLS IN THE COMMUNITY: On Wednesday night from 7 to 9 pm the Bulls players will be at the AAYC Haunted House located at 816 South Van Buren. Once again the Amarillo Bulls will be at selected Family Science Nights at the Don Harrington Discovery Center. Dates and times will be released in the coming weeks.



FRIDAY, OCT. 24 VS. CORPUS CHRISTI ICERAYS, 7 PM – The first 500 fans receive magnet schedules. The Bulls will be wearing specialty jerseys in support of Amarillo Youth Hockey.


SATURDAY, OCT. 25 VS. CORPUS CHRISTI ICERAYS, 7 PM – The Bulls will wear specialty jerseys with a live auction to take place immediately after the game with proceeds to benefit Amarillo Youth Hockey. It’s also Scout and City Employee Discount Night for ticket special details call 242-1122.

AMARILLO BULLS 2 – LONE STAR BRAHMAS 1: Cody Gylling and Tristan Rostagno netted the goals and Anton Martinsson stopped 28 of 29 shots he faced as the Bulls edged the Lone Star Brahmas 2-1 for the first home win of the season.


LONE STAR BRAHMAS 7 – AMARILLO BULLS 2: The Amarillo Bulls rallied from a 2-0 second period deficit to tie the game 2-2. Elijiah Barriga and Cody Gylling tallied for the Bulls less than 90 seconds apart, but after that it was all Brahmas with five unanswered goals. Anton Martinsson took the loss in the goal.
