Bulls Weekly-Back At Home

AMARILLO, TX – After posting just one point in two games in Rio Grande Valley, the Amarillo Bulls return to home ice this weekend for the first of four games in a row. The Bulls, who host the Corpus Christi IceRays for the final time this season, trail the Killer Bees by two points for the sixth and final Playoff spot in the North American Hockey League’s South Division.


RADIO SHOW MONDAYS: Host Denis J. Puska returns for the Amarillo Bulls Radio show at Seven Bar and Grill located on Soncy Road in Amarillo.  Assistant Coach Mike Watt guests on the show, filling in for Head Coach Jon Rogger. HOCKEY-N-HEELS WEDNESDAY: The fourth annual Hockey-N-Heels event is set for this Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in The Corral at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. This is a great opportunity for the ladies to have fun and learn the game of hockey. Tickets are $10 for Season Ticket Holders and $15 for Non-Season Ticket Holders. BULLS IN THE COMMUNITY: Bulls’ players will be out in the community this week at a couple of different locations. On Tuesday the Bulls will be at Region 16 on Cleveland Street and the Head Start Program. The next day the Bulls visit Margaret Wills Elementary School and their After School Program.  


FRIDAY, FEB. 13 & SATURDAY, FEB. 14 VS CORPUS CHRISTI ICE RAYS, 7 PM: It’s big weekend of hockey and fun for the Amarillo Bulls at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center when they host the Corpus Christi Ice Rays. Friday is sponsored by AT&T and the first 500 fans will receive a Jason Goalie Mask. Saturday is Super Heroes Night and there will be a variety of characters in attendance for fans to get their pictures with. The Bulls will wear Super Hero Jerseys will proceeds to benefit the March Of Dimes. A live auction follows immediately after the game.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY 2 – AMARILLO BULLS 1, SHOOTOUT: Brady Crabtree scored for the Amarillo Bulls in the second period. That lead held up until early in the third when the Killer Bees pulled even. Rio Grande Valley tallied the lone goal in the shootout on goaltender Anton Martinsson who played well.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY 4 – AMARILLO BULLS 1: It was another fast start for the Bulls as Cody Gylling scored in the first five minutes of play. After that it was all Killer Bees with four straight goals. Anton Martinsson took the loss in goal.
