BLAINE, MN – It was another outstanding effort by the Amarillo Bulls at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota on Friday night.
This time, a three-goal, second-period outburst — lifted the Bulls past the Bismarck Bobcats 4-1 and remain unbeaten at the North American Hockey League’s signature event.
The Bulls conclude their play at the Showcase on Saturday night with a game against the Coulee Region Chill at 7:15 pm.
A late goal in the opening 20 minutes got Amarillo’s attack underway when Joe Kozlak scored from TJ Sarcona at 19:57.
Bismarck tied the game early in the second period on the power play, but after that it was all Bulls. TJ Sarcona jammed home a shot at the side of the net from Brooks Behling and Karl Beckman at 7:58.
