Bulls Playoff Rush Hits The Ice Tomorrow

 AMARILLO, TX – It’s almost here! It’s nearly time to feel the playoff rush!

 In less than 24 hours playoff hockey returns to the Texas Panhandle for the first time in four years when the Amarillo Bulls host the Texas Tornado in the opening game of the Best-of-Five South Division Semi-Final Series. The face-off is set for 7 pm.

There is plenty to do for the fans prior to tomorrow night’s contest and Friday’s second game. There is a huge tailgate party in the Johnson street parking lot. The Tailgate party, that starts at 5:45 pm, will consist of Free Beer, a BBQ and live music from the local band Five Floors Above. When the doors open at 6 pm, be one of the first 1,000 fans to receive a free red playoff rally towel.

On the ice, fans will be treated to a post-season installment of one of the best rivalries all season in the NAHL. The two teams met a total of eight times during the regular season with all be three games being decided by one goal. The Bulls owned the season-series 5-3 with victories in four of the last five games.
