AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls in conjunction with the North American Hockey League today (Monday) announced its 2018-19 schedule. The 9th campaign of Amarillo’s #1 sports team features 28 home games and 28 away games as well as four that will take place the North American Hockey League Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota in late September.
The Bulls home opener that will face off the 23rd consecutive year of Hockey in the Texas Panhandle takes place on Saturday, September 15 against the Lone Star Brahmas at 7 pm. That’s one of 12 games versus the 2017 Robertson Cup Champions. The Bulls will face the Topeka Pilots, formerly the RoadRunners, a total of 8 times including New Years’ Eve for the first time. That New Year’s Eve game is the 8th straight time the Bulls will host a game on the final day of the year. Other highlights of the schedule include early visits by the defending Robertson Cup Champion Shreveport Mudbugs (a total of 12 games), as well as the Odessa Jackalopes (12 games), and the Corpus Christi IceRays (12 games).
In total at home, the Bulls will play 13 Saturdays, 11 Fridays, as well as 3 Sundays and 1 on Monday, New Year’s Eve. The Bulls will play four tripleheaders versus the Corpus Christi IceRays (2 at home and 2 away). There were will two off-weekends where the Bulls won’t be playing any games and that is set for November 16-17 as well as December 21-22.

The best way to catch Amarillo Bulls hockey this fall at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center is to purchase season tickets and have the same seat for all 28 home games. Fans can select from full as well as half season tickets and 10 game Flex Packs. Any fan who purchases or begins a payment plan for Season Tickets will be automatically entered in to the draw to win a trip for two to see a Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey game this fall. There are also special weekly draws that are held throughout the summer as part of the Summer of Hockey Giveaway.
