AMARILLO, TX – Retaking second place and getting back into the win column will be on the minds of the Amarillo Bulls tonight (Wednesday) as they visit the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm at Kay Yeager Coliseum.
The Bulls fell one point back into third place in the NAHL’s South Division on Tuesday night when the Texas Tornado beat the Wichita Falls Wildcats 6-1 in Frisco. That was the make-up game that was rescheduled due to a snow storm in the Dallas area back in early February.
It is the 10thand final meeting of the regular season between the Bulls and the Wildcats. Forwards Cody Freeman, Zack Smoot and Michael Erickson have combined for 16 goals and goaltender Nikifor Szczerba has yet to lose in regulation (4-0-2) versus Wichita Fallls. Amarillo enters the game following back-to-back losses to the Topeka RoadRunners, but with great success lately away from home with no losses in their last eight games.
