Bulls Host Tornado Tonight And Tomorrow


AMARILLO, TX – A big early test of games for the Amarillo Bulls faces off tonight (Friday) when they entertain the first place Texas Tornado at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. The two teams will go at it again tomorrow (Saturday) night also at 7 pm.

The two games start a stretch of eight straight where the Bulls will face the Tornado and the second place Topeka RoadRunners. The Bulls will host the RoadRunners next weekend, and then after that — hit the road games Topeka and in Frisco, Texas.

This home stand is not to be missed by fans and starts with a special night for Breast Cancer Awareness. On ‘Pink It Out Night’, the Bulls will be selling Pink T-Shirts and fans are encouraged to wear Pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

When the Bulls and Tornado hit the ice on Saturday, fans can come out and celebrate Halloween Early with a Costume Contest. One lucky person could win a snowboard.

On the ice, the Bulls have collected points in eight straight games which included a win and an overtime loss in Corpus Christi last weekend.

The Bulls and the Tornado are ranked No. 1 and No 2 in the North American Hockey League in Goals For, while they are second and third ranked respectively, in Goals Against. The two teams are also near the top in the Shots On Goal department. The Bulls are No. 1, while Texas is No. 3 in Shots For, while the two are No. 1 and No. 5 respectively, in Shots Against.
