Bulls Begin Home Stand With Mustangs Tonight

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls can clinch their second straight trip to the North American Hockey League playoffs (Friday) tonight.

The Bulls host the New Mexico Mustangs at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.  A win by the Bulls or picking up at least one point will get them back to the post-season for a second year in row.

The Bulls, who have scored 14 goals in their last two games, meet the Mustangs for the eighth time this season. Amarillo has taken six of the seven meetings including the last five in a row.  In four of those contests the Bulls have scored at least five times.

The Bulls lead the South Division by 11 points over the Topeka RoadRunners and 13 on third place Texas Tornado. Topeka is not in action tonight, while the Tornado entertains the Wichita Falls Wildcats.

It promises to be another festive atmosphere at the Budweiser Bull Pen with the first 1,000 fans receiving Thundersticks courtesy of Suddenlink Communications. It’s also College Night and all College Students can get tickets for just $5 when they show a Student ID.

Tickets for tonight’s game are available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk in the Amarillo Building, Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets.
