Amarillo, TX – The Amarillo Bulls announced that Saturday, February 29 will be Make-A-Wish night, benefiting Make-A-Wish North Texas, as the team welcomes the Topeka Pilots into the Budweiser Bull Pen.

The fun begins, even before the puck hits the ice, with a special pregame skate beginning at 4:00 PM. All proceeds from the skate will go directly to Make-A-Wish North Texas.

As doors open for general admission at 6:00 PM, fans are invited to stop by Guest Relations to pick up a free youth jersey, sponsored by Starlight Ranch Event Center, for the first 100 children, 12 and under, at the game. Once fans are inside the Budweiser Bull Pen, they can enjoy $1.00 hotdogs at arena concession stands while supplies last.

Fans can visit Guest Relations and enter into a staycation giveaway raffle. Tickets will be available for $1.00 with 50% of the proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish North Texas.

Additionally, $1.00 from every ticket sold for that evening’s game will be donated to Make-A-Wish North Texas.

The Bulls organization will also be welcoming its newest member of the roster when the team will sign 10-year old Micah Gallegos, a child in the Make-A-Wish program, to a one-day player contract. Micah and his family will be given the Amarillo Bulls treatment and behind the scenes experiences that will make a lasting impact.

“We are excited and incredibly honored to welcome Micah and his family to Amarillo and into the Bulls family with open arm,” said Senior Director of Operations for the Amarillo Bulls Lois Offerman. “This event touches more lives than just of those directly involved. Players, coaches, staff members, and fans are all impacted by the work of Make-A-Wish and the stories and memories they help create. We are pleased to help Make-A-Wish’s continued goal of making dreams a reality.”

Puck drop between the Bulls and the Pilots will be at 7:05 PM, and fans can purchase their tickets for the evening’s event by calling (806) 242-1122 or by visiting AmarilloBulls.com/tickets.
