BECOME A BULLS PLAYER HOST FAMILY
AMARILLO, TEXAS – The Amarillo Bulls are seeking applications from would-be host families for the upcoming 2020/21 NAHL season planned to start this fall.
The Bulls host families are responsible for providing a family setting and a good home for the player or sometimes more than one player. This includes room and board, meals, and a loving family environment. The players are ages 16-20 and are also expected to treat their host family with respect and kindness.
The players on the Bulls train daily and work hard 24/7 to become the best hockey player possible so they can move on to play college hockey and beyond. As a host family, you play a major role in helping the kids grow and mature as young men, but also help them in their goal of playing college hockey.
The players are expected to abide by all house rules and to pickup and clean after themselves. The host families are also expected to abide by a set of rules stated by the team.
Being a host family, or billet family, is a great way to become a part of the team and to build a relationship with a player that will last a lifetime. The Amarillo Bulls have former players playing hockey all across the globe, and many of those players still have a close relationship with their billet families from Amarillo to this day.
