AMARILLO SELECTS 11 PLAYERS IN 2020 ENTRY DRAFT
AMARILLO, TEXAS – The North American Hockey League had their annual Entry Draft on Tuesday, July 21st, where the Bulls selected 11 players. The Bulls’ selections ranged from 2001-2003 birth years and saw forwards, defensemen, and goaltenders picked.

The 2020 draft class for the Bulls is led by the 20th overall pick of the draft, a pick which the Bulls traded up for, Jakub Teply. The Stamford, Connecticut native was also selected 12th overall in the QMJHL draft earlier this year.
The Bulls went to the blueline for their next selection, taking Lachlan Getz with their 2nd round pick. The 18 year old Getz is committed to play his college hockey at Union College.
With the Bulls 3rd pick, they took goaltender, Remington Keopple. The Wisconsin native played high school hockey for Hill-Murray in Minnesota and also served as an alternate captain. He appeared in 21 games, posting a 1.66 GAA and a .934% save percentage.
The Bulls had eight more picks in the draft, six forwards, one defenseman, and one goaltender. Amarillo now has 28 players on their roster heading into main camp which takes place July 25-28 in Philadelphia, PA. The final roster will be announced after camp is completed.
