Alumni Notebook-Vol 5- Ed I

AMARILLO, TX – Several Amarillo Bulls Alumni were busy in NCAA Division I action this past weekend.

Holy Cross Crusaders lost both ends of a series against No.l8 ranked Quinnipiac. Paul Berrafato was in goal for Holy Cross in the first game, while Karl Beckman notched an assist.

Forward Matt Johnson picked up an assist in Lake Superior State’s 5-2 loss against North Dakota.

On Saturday, Tyler Rostenkowski had a helper in Air Force’s 5-1 loss at the University of Denver.

It was a big night for Brandon Lubin as he earned two assists in American International’s game against New Hampshire. It was a tough night for AIC which fell 7-3.

Meantime Robert Morris University is being selected by USCHO to win the Atlantic Hockey Division title. RMU features former Amarillo Bulls John Rey, Greg Gibson, Brady Ferguson and Tim Moore. Bentley University with Matt Sieckhaus and Tyler Deresky are picked third. Canisius College with defenseman Geoff Fortman is picked fourth.

Hockey is back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center this Friday and Saturday when the Amarillo Bulls host the Corpus Christi IceRays at 7pm. Friday is Family Fun Night presented by Plains Dairy.
