Building and building. That’s the course for the now 19-year-old Jordan Venegoni, who prepares to enter his second full season with the Bulls.
At 6’0 and183 pounds, Venegoni is anything but a small bodied forward, adding to the common core of solidly built skaters that Amarillo boasts.
After a brief eight-game stint with the team during the 2017-2018 season, the Livonia, Michigan native settled in for 48 games in 2018-2019. Venegoni tallied his first goal in a Bulls sweater during the second period of the Bulls’ 6-0 shutout of Lone Star on October 16 of last season.
A three-game goal streak helped show the true potential of the returning Venegoni, as he recorded tallies in a two-game set against Topeka and the following game against Corpus Christi.
With 10 playoff games and a postseason goal under his belt, Venegoni is no stranger to the pressures that will come during the team’s push for the Robertson Cup.
After a diving into the Bulls culture last season, Venegoni could be headed into a turning point fall. As the puck drops and the Bulls celebrate their 10th anniversary season, Venegoni could be celebrating a breakout season in Amarillo.
