AMARILLO, TX – The hottest team in the North American Hockey League just keeps rolling along. The Amarillo Bulls notched their ninth win in a row and extended their points-streak to 10 games after sweeping the Wichita Falls Wildcats over the weekend 4-3 and 2-1 to remain 10 points up on their closest pursuer in the South Division. The Bulls return to action this coming weekend with three against the Odessa Jackalopes, including the final match-up on Sunday at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

FRIDAY, & SATURDAY JAN. 24, 25 @ ODESSA JACKALOPES, 7:17 PM: The Amarillo Bulls make their first visit of the season to Ector County Coliseum. It’s the start of three in a row between these two long time hockey rival cities. The previous three meetings of the season have taken place in the Texas Panhandle.
SUNDAY, JAN. 26 VS. ODESSA JACKALOPES, 6 PM: Hockey returns to the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center as the Bulls and the Jackalopes close out their three game weekend. It’s Faith and Family Fun Night Presented by Polk Street Methodist Church. All area churches are invited to attend this event. There will be testimonials and special prayers immediately after the game that fans can attend.

AMARILLO BULLS 4 – WICHITA FALLS 3: Two goals early in the first and second period propelled the Amarillo Bulls to a victory over the Wildcats at Kay Yeager Coliseum. Mitchell McPherson, Cody Gylling, Brendan McGuire and Mike Davis all scored for the Bulls. Gylling, McGuire and Davis each had a goal and an assist. Ryan Stevens, Brady Ferguson, Joe Grabowski, Dean Rhymer all added single helpers. Goaltender Paul Berrafato turned aside 28 of 31 shots he faced to post the victory.
AMARILLO BULLS 2 – WICHITA FALLS 1: Forward Brady Ferguson scored in the final three minutes of regulation to lift the Amarillo Bulls past Wichita Falls. Two of the goals were netted within a minute apart late in the first period including one by Patrick Pollock scored from Cody Gylling on a face off win. Collin Delia stopped 18 of 19 shots he faced to get the win in goal.
