Weekly-Bulls Host Cats Tuesday

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls remain alive for a playoff spot entering the final weekend of the North American Hockey League’s regular season. The Bulls dropped both games to the Topeka RoadRunners by the same 4-2 score over the weekend.

The Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center will be the site of a critical match-up tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 7 pm when the Bulls host the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm. The Bulls must win tomorrow to remain alive in the South Division playoff fight.

  • Win their final three games versus Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi.
  • Rio Grande Valley loses both games at home to the Odessa Jackalopes

  • If that scenario plays out, the Bulls would be tied with the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and placed in fifth due to more wins. The Killer Bees would drop to sixth.

Scenario 2: The Bulls must:

  • Win their final three games versus Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi.
  • Rio Grande Valley Splits with the Odessa Jackalopes at home
  • Wenatchee Wild drops all three games to the Topeka RoadRunners.
  • If that scenario is in play, the Bulls would take the sixth and final playoff spot in the South Division.

Scenario 3: The Bulls must:

  • Win their final three games versus Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi.
  • Rio Grande Valley loses both games at home to the Odessa Jackalopes
