BULLS NEXT @ HOME: The Amarillo Bulls return at home for the final two home games of the regular season next Friday, Mar. 21 and Saturday, Mar. 22 at 7 pm when they host the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm.

THE SERIES: These are final two games of the season long series between the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas. In what’s been billed as the Battle of the Cattle Series, the Bulls have controlled it posting a mark of 7-3-0. Captain Mike Davis has seven goals versus the Brahmas this season, while Brady Ferguson has four. Brett Szajner and Joe Grabowski have each contributed seven assists.

Jan Hudacek, Matt Lison and Sebastien Vidmar each have three goals for the Brahmas in the series.

LONG STRETCH AHEAD FOR BULLS: This weekend’s two game set for the Amarillo Bulls begins a stretch of four games in five nights. After Saturday’s game, the Bulls will head to Topeka to face the RoadRunners at Kansas Expo Center Landon Arena for action on Monday and Tuesday at 6:35 pm.

WHAT IS AT STAKE: The Amarillo Bulls maintain a slight one point lead over the Topeka RoadRunners for first place in the South Division. The RoadRunners netted just a single point in early week action at home against the Wichita Falls Wildcats and are now off this weekend. The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees remain alone in third just five back of second place.

BULLS NOTES: The Amarillo Bulls are second with 29 wins when they score the game’s first goal just one back of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. The Bulls rank third in total first goals this season with 33 trailing both Port Huron and Fairbanks. It is interesting to note that the Bulls are one of two (Janesville Jets the other), to have not lost in regulation or in overtime when leading after 40 minutes this season currently at 27-0-0.
