AMARILLO, TX – A crop of hungry young hockey players are cutting their teeth in Mequon, Wisconsin at the Amarillo Bulls first Camp of the Summer. The event began today (Friday) and continues all weekend at the Ozaukee Ice Center near Milwaukee.
Head Coach Jon Rogger, Assistant Coach Mike Watt and Director of Scouting Eric Blasé are watching the hopefuls. There will be a Pre-Draft Camp in Omaha, Nebraska next weekend prior to the North American Hockey League Draft on Tuesday, June 9th at 1 pm. A full camp recap will be posted on the website next week.
OFF TO COLLEGE
The Amarillo Bulls are proud to announce not one but two more NCAA College Commitments. Forward Riley Christensen announced his commitment to St. Norbert in De Pere, Wisconsin. St. Norbert plays out of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. Christensen who hails from the State notched nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points in 53 games for the Bulls.
Former Bulls power forward Mitchell McPherson also announced his NCAA plans by committing to Hamline University that plays out of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In 76 games for the Bulls (2013-14 and 2015-16 seasons) McPherson picked up 10 goals, 13 assist for 23 points. Hamline University is located in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Bulls announced earlier this week an even easier way to get involved by extended payment terms by six, eight or 10 months. Signing up early allows fans to be registered for the 30 Days Of Hockey Draw.
