AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls are teaming up with Hastings and Yellow City Comic Con this Friday night to help the Children’s Miracle Network.
That night the Bulls host the Odessa Jackalopes on Star Wars Night at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Fans can get a $12 ticket special with $4 from each ticket benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network.
“This is going to be an great night of fun and excitement,” said Bulls Vice-President and General Manager Rick Matchett. “We’re excited about teaming up with Yellow City and CMN and being able to give back to help the CMN Miracle Kids! This is the night you don’t want to miss!”

Many of our CMN Miracle Kids are going to attend the game and one will participate in the Puck Drop. We enjoy the opportunity to be out in the community sharing what CMN offers”.
Children’s Miracle Network Amarillo affiliate is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and improving the quality of children’s healthcare. According to Cody Seaton with Yellow City Comic Con, “the Force is strong with Children’s Miracle Network and the Amarillo Bulls. Yellow City Comic Con loves to bring people together and this is a great opportunity for us to show the community who we are. This is a chance for people who normally don’t go to a comic convention to see us and people who normally don’t go to hockey to see a game. Come out and have a great time while we raise money for our local Children’s Miracle Network affiliate.”
As part of the special night there will be Star Wars characters on the concourse for fans to get their pictures taken with and T-Shirts will be given away at the door. Fans are encouraged to get dressed up as the adults will be judged at the Yellow City Comic Con Booth, while there will be a children’s costume contest during the first intermission. A Wookie Call will take place during the second intermission.
