Showdown For First Tomorrow NIght

AMARILLO, TX – The top two teams in the North American Hockey League’s South Division collide tomorrow (Friday) night in The Bull Pen at the Amarillo Civic Center when the Amarillo Bulls entertain the Texas Tornado at 7 pm.

The Bulls and the Tornado are separated by just three points for first in the division. It’s the lone game for Amarillo this weekend prior to the Christmas Break, while Texas still has one game remaining on home ice against Corpus Christi on Saturday.

This contest is not to be missed by fans and is an excellent opportunity to see the Bulls prior to the break. There are plenty of activities going on during tomorrow night’s game including the Bulls wearing their holiday jerseys. An auction will follow immediately after the game with proceeds to benefit Amarillo Youth hockey.

Fans are also encouraged to bring a new or gently used Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal to the game, and after the Bulls score their first goal, throw the toys onto the ice. The toys will be collected and distributed to various charities across the Texas Panhandle. Santa Claus will also be making an appearance at the game.
