Second Chance At 2nd Place For Bulls Tonight

TOPEKA, KS – A second chance at second place.

That’s what is facing the Amarillo Bulls tonight (Wednesday) as they visit the Topeka RoadRunners at Kansas Expo Center-Landon Arena at 7 pm. The Bulls missed on their first opportunity this past Sunday, and still need just one victory to secure second place and home ice in the first round of the NAHL playoffs that start next weekend.

Topeka has been a good place for the Bulls to play this season with a 2-1-1 record in four games. Forward Dan Sherer has seven goals for the Bulls, while Cody Freeman has eight helpers.

Both the Bulls and the RoadRunners are coming into tonight’s game with chips on their shoulders. The Bulls just one win in their last five games, while Topeka was swept by their rivals from the North Division the St. Louis Bandits including a 5-1 drubbing last Saturday.
