Bulls & Wildcats Set For 2nd Game Tonight

WICHITA FALLS, TX – The Amarillo Bulls hope to continue their dominance against the Wichita Falls Wildcats when the two teams play their second game in three days tonight (Friday) here at 7 pm at Kay Yeager Coliseum.

The Bulls had a three-game winning streak against the Wildcats stopped on Wednesday night in that 4-3 overtime loss. Amarillo has won five of the nine meetings. Two of the three games in Wichita Falls this season have either gone to overtime or a shootout.

Cody Freeman leads the Bulls in the series with six goals, while forward Zack Smoot has nine points including five assists. Both players figured in the scoring in the mid-week contest. Goaltender Nikifor Szczerba has yet to lose in regulation to the Wildcats this season.

Ryan Frost, who had been held silent by the Bulls in the series, has six points including two goals he scored on Wednesday. Dakota Kletcha and Jason McAloon each have three goals.

It is the second of a three game road trip for the Bulls that will end tomorrow (Saturday) night in Frisco against the Texas Tornado at 7:30 pm.

Puska brings you the exciting action at 7 pm. The game is also available on Pay-Per-View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.

Hockey is back at The Bullpen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday Feb. 26 when the Bulls entertain the Corpus Christi IceRays at 7 pm.
