Bulls Visit Texas Tonight In 2nd Place Showdown

FRISCO, TX – Second place is on the line tonight as the Amarillo Bulls take on the Texas Tornado tonight (Saturday) at the Dr. Pepper Star Center at 7:30 pm.

The Bulls trail the Tornado by just a single point for second in the NAHL’s South Division. Both teams are coming off victories last night and are looking to renew what has been a terrific season series between the two teams. Amarillo has won back-to-back games versus the Tornado, including once in Frisco.

The two teams have combined for 59 first goals this season, and it has produced 33 wins between them. Tonight’s contest will feature two solid penalty killing units as the Bulls are seventh in the NAHL on the road, while Texas is in the top five. The Bulls and the Tornado are amongst the top teams in the league for shooting the puck with each averaging over 33 shots a game. Amarillo has averaged at least 35 or more shots in their last 10 games.
