Bulls To Help In Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

AMARILLO, TX – When the Amarillo Bulls hit the ice this weekend for a pair of pre-season games they will also help those who are involved with relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey.

The Bulls host the Odessa Jackalopes tomorrow (Friday) night at 7 pm and Saturday at 1 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Tickets are $5 for Red and Silver Sections while glass and pit sections are $10.

Fans can come to the games and help support Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts. Bekins and the American Legion will have a trailer on the concourse to load at the games. The goal of the two organizations is to fill up the trailer before next week. Fans are encouraged to bring Water, Gatorade, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Diapers, Batteries, Hand Sanitizer, Bug Spray, Clothes, Toys and Trash Bags, and watch the trailer fill up with the donations. The Bulls players will help pack the trailer before it is transported to Rockport TX next week to help with relief efforts. Salvation Army will also have kettles placed at each of the entrances of the Budweiser Bull Pen where fans can drop off monetary donations.

It’s been a busy week for the Bulls players both on and off the ice with conditioning and getting the time in during training camp. The two exhibition games will serve as an excellent opportunity for the players to face new competition as they get ready to start the 2017-18 season in a couple of weeks.

Both games will air live via Internet only through the Bulls website at www.amarillobulls.com and the UStream APP starting at 6:50 pm on Friday and 12:50 pm on Saturday.

Tickets for the two Pre-Season Games are available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk or by calling 1-806-242-1122. Fans can also drop by the Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket locations including United Supermarkets.
