Bulls To Attend Block Party on Saturday

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls, proud members of the North American Hockey League, invite fans to come and see them this weekend at one of the summer’s major activities.

The Bulls will have an interactive booth set up at the Center City Block Party on Saturday, beginning at 5 pm. The booth, which will be located near 9thand Polk Street, features a chance to win prizes by spinning the wheel, and children will be able to participate in a shooting gallery on the net.

The Center City Block Party is regarded as one of the big events of the summer with large crowds expected to partake in activities, eat great food and enjoy music.

It has been a busy last several weeks for the Bulls as staff members have been out at various events in the community, including two fundraising golf tournaments as well as the Ultmate Man Cave for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Several other activities are on the Bulls schedule in the coming weeks including the Juvenile Diabetes Walk set for Thompson Park on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 9 am.

Hockey returns in the Texas Panhandle in just over a month’s time when the Amarillo Bulls make their debut in the North American Hockey League. The Bulls home opener is set for Friday, Sept. 24 at 7 pm when they host the Texas Tornado at the Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.
