Bulls In Playoff Fight

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls have hit the Christmas Break right in the thick of the North American Hockey League playoff race trailing the fourth and final playoff spot in the South Division by just four points. Next action for the Bulls is their traditional New Year’s Eve game when they host the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm.

AMARILLO BULLS 3 – CORPUS CHRISTI ICEERAYS 1: A fast start helped the Amarillo Bulls propel past the IceRays on Friday night. Goals came off the sticks of Liam Ferguson, Johan Lundgren and Jacob Nitsche. Anton Martinsson stopped 41 of 42 shots he faced.

CORPUS CHRISTI ICERAYS 6 – AMARILLO BULLS 2: The visiting IceRays struck for four in the first period, with three coming via the power play. Liam Ferguson scored on the power play and that made it rain Teddy Bears and Stuffed Animals in the annual event for the Toys For tots Program. Jacob Nitsche notched the other Bulls’ marker. Anton Martinsson started in goal and was replaced by Jacob Weatherly.
