Bulls Host Wildcats Tonight In Game Two Of Series

The Amarillo Bulls head back to work tonight (Saturday) in the second game of their North American Hockey League playoff series with the Wichita Falls Wildcats. After a thrilling 4-2 triumph on Friday night, the Bulls look to make it 2-0 and take a stranglehold on the South Division Semi-Final Series.

The first 500 fans through the doors receive a playoff t-shirt courtesy of Seven Grill and Bar and Village Cleaners on Hillside.

Tickets are available at the Bulls Office until 4 pm today as well as at the Civic Center Box Office right up until game time and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets.

On Friday night, Mike Davis scored twice in the first 40 minutes of play while Collin Delia stopped 27 of 29 shots he faced to lift the Amarillo Bulls past the Wichita Falls Wildcats 4-2 in the opening game of the series. The contest featured two shorthanded goals in the second period with one being scored by each team. The Bulls led 2-1 heading into the final 20 minutes of play when Tyler Gernhofer gave his teammates a two goal cushion with just 43 seconds played. Brendan Vetter added to the lead six minutes later.  Matt Koch and Rudy Junda tallied for the Wildcats in the loss.
