Bulls Host Tornado To Start Big Weekend Series

 

AMARILLO, TX – Outstanding hockey and terrific activities highlight a big weekend at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center starting tonight. The first place Amarillo Bulls host the third place Texas Tornado in the first of back-to-back games. The Face off is set for 7 pm.

These two teams have already played four exciting and dramatic games in Frisco and these two games are expected to be just as entertaining.

It’s Parents Weekend and many players and staff members have family in attendance for the contests. Tonight Aqua One has guaranteed a Bulls’ win or all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket voucher to Saturday’s game. It’s also Scout Night as several Scout Packs from across the Texas Panhandle are expected to participate.

On Saturday, the Bulls will wear their specialty jerseys and a live auction will be held immediately after the game with proceeds to benefit the Special Olympics.

On the ice, the Bulls have won three of the four match-ups that have been decided by one goal. Two of the games have also gone into overtime. Brooks Behling leads all Bulls players with four goals and five points, while Greg Gibson and Matt Johnson each have two goals. Forward Mitchell McPherson has scored three goals in the series for Texas.
