Bulls Host Topeka This Weekend In South Final

AMARILLO, TX – For the third time in four years the best rivalry in the North American Hockey League will be renewed in the South Division final and a birth to the Robertson Cup National Semi-Final.

The Amarillo Bulls will host the Topeka RoadRunners in the Best-Of-Five series that begins this Friday and Saturday at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. There will be a create-a-sign contest on Friday prior to the game where fans can show their support for the team. Several tables will be set up for fans to draw signs with best ones winning a prize. Children are invited to register to win two Easter baskets.

Saturday’s game is sponsored by the Big Texan and the first 1,000 fans receive a Big Texan Cup. The Big Texan’s Rocking Chair will be at the Civic Center for fans to get a picture with.

There is a special ticket promotion as fans can get two Silver Level Tickets for $24 or two Red Level Tickets for $30 when they buy for Friday and Saturday. That special package is available at the Bulls Office only located at 301 South Polk.

The scene for games 3 and 4 (if necessary) will shift to Kansas Expo Center Landon Arena for next Thursday, Apr. 24 and Friday, Apr. 25 also at 7:05 pm. If a fifth and deciding game is needed it will be back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Monday, Apr. 28 at 7 pm.

          Fans can tune into the action of the games live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, www.amarillobulls.com or watch on PPV courtesy of Fast Hockey, beginning with Prelude To The Playoffs, Presented By Wayland Baptist University at 6:45 pm. The puck drop follows at 7 pm.
