Bulls Host New Mexico In The Final Two Games Of 2011

AMARILLO, TX – Fans in the Texas Panhandle have two opportunities to see the hottest team in junior hockey this weekend.

The Amarillo Bulls who lead not only the South Division, but the North American Hockey League’s overall standings entertain the New Mexico Mustangs tonight (Friday) in the first of a weekend series at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. The face-off is set for 7 p m.

It’s Run From Your Relatives Night sponsored by Cattle Call. This is a great opportunity to get away from the extended family, and come out and watch the Bulls who are riding a seven game winning entering this contest.

The Bulls notched their 27th win of the season on Wednesday night, when they beat the Wichita Falls Wildcats 8-3.

On Saturday night when these two teams meet again it’s the return of a terrific Amarillo Tradition, New Years’ Eve Hockey. Here is your chance to come out and watch some great hockey before going out to ring in the New Year. It’s Kids Inc Night and the Bulls will be wearing their specialty jerseys with a live auction to follow immediately after the game. Proceeds will benefit Kids Inc. All Kids Inc teams can receive a special group rate.
