AMARILLO, TX – Even though the weather was less than ideal for travel for NCAA teams, they still managed to in some cases to make it to their games.
Only a couple of games were postponed including the first match-up between American International and Army. When the teams hooked up for the second day of action, Brandon Lubin notched his eighth assist as American International blanked Army 3-0.
Meantime, Cody Freeman continues to be an offensive force for Canisius College as he scored in the school’s 2-0 win over Niagara. That was Freeman’s fourth goal of the season and his ninth point.
At the Division III level, forward Mike Erickson earned his fourth assist of the year as Williams fell to Middlebury 3-1.
