AMARILLO, TX – As the Amarillo Bulls get set to hit the ice this weekend for a pair of games in Topeka, they continue to add more depth, strength and veteran leadership to the line-up.
Forward Dan McNamara has joined the Bulls’ roster and will be on the ice this weekend. McNamara, a native of Grand Rapids Michigan, began the season with USHL’s Chicago Steel where he notched two goals and four assists for six points. He also had 22 shots on goal.
McNamara spent last season with the Georgetown Raiders of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. In 30 games for the Raiders, the 5-11, 190-pound forward picked up seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points.
“He’s a 20 year-old who played in Ontario last year and has been in the USHL with Chicago this season,” said Bulls Head Coach Dennis Williams. “He will come in as a veteran and bring some toughness and physicality to the front. Dan is somebody who will fight and work for those spots on the ice.”
